Pre event

Prior to the event you will recieve your race pack. When you receive this will depend on when you register but we aim to have this sent out approximately 4 weeks in advance of the event.

Further important details regarding race day information will be included within the Runners Race Guide, which will be available to download in due course. It is important that you read the Runners Race Guide fully before attending the event.

A typical race day

07:30
You will be able to deposit your bag in the baggage deposit facility from 07:30. Please note that all baggage is left at the owners risk .
Toilets will also be available at the start/finish area.  Please refer to the site map in your Runner Guide for the locations of these facilities.
You should familiarise yourself not only with the way to the start area, but also the Charity Village area, and find a suitable meeting place to meet with friends and family after you have finished the event.

08:00
You can make your way to the start area from 08:00. Here you will find starting pens which will be based on your predicted finishing time. Anyone who is expecting a race time of sub 35 minutes should make their way to the start line where you will be guided into the ‘Elite Start Area’. Pens will be split in times of 10 minutes and you should go to the ‘Pen’ that you think indicates the time you will take.
We kindly ask that anyone who is intending to jog or walk head to the rear of the pens to ensure that those wishing to run the event (often attempting a personal best) can do so without being held up in crowds.
Approximately 20 minutes before the start of the event there will be a mass warm up which we welcome everyone to take part in.
