The Leeds Half Marathon is one of the highlights of Leeds’ sporting calendar, completely selling out in the last two consecutive years.
Organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All for the third time, 2014’s event is set to be another record-breaking year.
Date: Sunday 11th May 2014
Location: Leeds City Centre, The Headrow
The 13.1 mile run starts on the Headrow, close to the iconic Town Hall and finishes in Cookridge Street, to the side of landmark Millennium Square.
With an electric start and finish, the Half Marathon is a fantastic challenge and a step-up from the 10K series for those who want to push themselves a little further.
The Half Marathon is Yorkshire’s biggest hospice run with participants encouraged to raise funds for their local hospice. The 2012 event brought in a huge £150,000 for partner charities and many thousands more were raised by people who chose a different cause close to their heart.
