Leeds Half Marathon - Sold Out!: 30 March 2012; Thanks to the support of Leeds City Council there will be an extra 1,000 places available for runners and event organisers are urging runners to sign up today in order to avoid disappointment. The 13th May event, this year handed to Run For All in a 10-year-deal, is set to be the biggest in the Leeds Half Marathon’s 26 -year history - with first time half-marathon runners and seasoned eventers coming together to take on the challenge.; Read more

Chrissie Wellington is back!: 02 March 2012; It will come as no surprise to hear that Four time World Ironman champion Chrissie Wellington has taken on a new type of challenge for 2012. Having decided to take a rest from competing in Ironman this year Chrissie will be putting her power behind the Jane Tomlinson Appeal as part of their 10th Anniversary. Setting off on April 15th Chrissie will join Mike & Rebecca Tomlinson as they set off on an 8 day challenge that will eclipse any challenge the Appeal has set since Jane’s death in 2007. Not satisfied with one marathon the team will take part in both the Paris and London marathons with 6 days of cycling thrown in between for good measure.; Read more
