It’s ‘Run further For All’ with our new event – the Leeds Half Marathon!

For those who are craving a challenge and whose desire for distance surpasses the Run For All 10Ks, For All Events are proud to announce the addition of the Leeds Half Marathon to its calendar.
The 13 mile road-race will take place on 13 May 2012 and entries are now open.

Tracey Morris, supporter of Run For All and member of the local Valley Striders running club, said that the change will benefit everyone, be them experienced, first time or charity runners: “The Leeds Half Marathon is a great race and attracts runners from across the country who are looking for a more challenging run. I’ve run it myself and love it!

“Whether you’re a fun runner looking for more of a challenge or a club runner looking for your latest race, the Leeds Half Marathon is for you.”

The event was previously managed by Leeds City Council and the new partnership will allow the event to develop and grow to be become one of the biggest and best charity running events in the country.

The race will support hospices around Yorkshire, including St Gemma’s, Sue Ryder Wheatfields, Sue Ryder Manorlands, Overgate Hospice, Martin House, St Leonard’s, St Michael’s and Forget Me Not.

The Leeds Half Marathon will be supported by: Leeds City Council, 105 Capital FM, Yorkshire Evening Post, Asda Foundation and Physioworld.
