About
Launched by Swim For All in 2011, the Jane Tomlinson Yorkshire Swimming Festival is the biggest open water swimming festival of this kind in Yorkshire.
As the test of open water swimming becomes the challenge of choice for those fundraising for charity or as a triathlon training exercise, the festival is set to grow at an amazing rate. With up to 600 participants aged from 12 years up 71 years taking part in 2011, each year will see hundreds more join us as part of the junior 500m, adult 500 or adult 1500m swims.
Following the ‘For all’ ethos, entrants, whether they are novices, avid swimmers, triathletes looking for a training swim, are all welcome.
Profits from the event will be donated to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
